coffee enemas

PBS had a show on alternative mecidine last night.
One of the doctors highlighted in the show proscribed 4 coffee enemas a day
to help fight colon, liver, and pancreatic cancers. I wonder if anyone at
the cancer research center in SLC looking into the potential benefits of
this use for coffee? Is it still breaking the WoW if the coffee is used in
this manner?

Is it decaf? Maybe they could use Postum instead.

LOL. You can eat 10 lbs of sugar a day but some coffee that is not orally
consumed *could* be a problem?

I once had a doctor literally tell me to take coffee with asprin to
eliminate migraine headaches! I took a pain killer with asprin and
caffeine in it instead but I figured I had carte blanc to drink coffee as
needed. If it had been a choice between migraines and no-coffee or coffee,
I know what I would choose every time, the cure.

LOL..me too.I am inactive and my one vice is coffee...My devout LDS mum
tells me to give it up ( or at least cut it back) But the headaches are un
bearable. I would rather break the word of wisdom than deal with the pain.
Is over use of pain killers against the WOW ? B/c if it is then this is what
I would have to do if I had to go without my coffee fix....

Not unless the WOW proscribes "hot enemas" in addition to hot drinks. BTW,
I'm not sure that 4 enemas a day with anything wouldn't lead to a cleaner,
happier colon. But what a way to live your life!!

In the old days, they correct the person, for spreading false
doctrine, but today, I feel they would be hard press to check how much
tithing this person bring into the ward, before being harsh, and
correcting. For example I know of a man who was Mormon, I think his
name is Paul Bender, who was a millionaire, he was into building
million dollare homes, whole complete subvisions. However, he was a
friend to Dallas Purcell, and Dallas wife was a Mormon, now Dallas was
a shrink from Hollywood, and Dallas and his wife even took care Mario
Lanza until the day he died. Well, Dallas knew allot about people, and
he even had Marilyn Monroe as babysitter for his daughter, before
Marilyn became famous, yes, he saw first hand how they transform her.
Yes, Dallas knew much about people, even had Elvis as a neighbor. So,
Dallas was white, but his father was black, and Dallas had problems
acepting the Mormon faith, but he was friends with the Mormons, and
one day Dallas told Paul, that the only reason the Mormons invited him
to banquets was because he gave a fortune to them, but if he just stop
giving money, they would stop inviting him to dinner and banquets.
Well, Paul did just that, and he found out that Dallas was right, they
did stop coming around, and stopped inviting him to banquets. So, what
happen was that Paul became discourage and withdrew from the Mormon
Chruch, however Dallas gain a partner in the real estate business, and
the last time I talked to Dallas he was buying his 95th house, which
Paul would always be there to loan him money to buy, then Dallas would
fix it up and resell it quick. I told that Dallas that it was his
black blood that gave him a hard time acepting the Mormon Chruch,
because whenever the a person has black blood we are taught in church
the Holy Ghost works to change their blood into the blood of Israel,
but whenever a person already had the blood of Israel the Holy Ghost
is able to inspire leadership, and reveal new things, and does not
have to waste time changing the blood, now I do not know for sure if
this correct doctrine, but it seems to be true in Dallas case. Now
poor Paul Bender, who now lost his chance for exaltation because of
Dallas, who will now get a second chance at exaltation because he
never had a change to start with. Is that justice? I think it is
unfair that Dallas cost Paul his chance, but now Dallas has a chance.

But we are only as good as are last act. And that is pure doctrine.

IF we do great things, it matters not, for we will always be judge by
our last act.

As Joseph Smith said:

"Methodists have creeds which a man must believe or be asked out of their
Church. I want the liberty of thinking and believing as I please. It feels
so good not to be trammeled." --Joseph Smith

But, the Bishop has his calling and with it the ostensible power of
discernment. This "power" doesn't work and never has.

But, the Bishop and I get along fabiously. I wouldn't know if he was
abusing children or beating his wife and he wouldn't know if I was thinking
for myself. Neither one of us has any special "powers", but must depend on
our senses only like everyone else.

By the way, Iced tea is not a hot drink so is allowed according to section
89 of the D&C so don't feel bad.
